Ella's first trip to the beach

Yes, perhaps we are a bit crazy for bringing out 3 week old to the beach in October, but she didn't seem to mind it and it was a nice afternoon - upper 60's. We figured what's the difference if we bundle her up and bring her to the beach or we bring her for a walk!! :) Anyway, here are pictures from Ella's first trip to the beach!

Daddy's first time feeding Ella. Ella's still trying to get the hang of drinking out of a bottle (doesn't come as naturally as I thought it would), but she's getting there. We've given her 3 bottles so far...

This weeks visitors and 2 week doctor appointment

Ella had her 2 week doctor appointment on Tuesday. She gained 12oz since we brought her home (now weighs 8lbs 7oz) and grew an inch (21.5"). She's getting so big already!!! She has adjusted really well. She sleeps for about 4-5 hours at night and a lot during the day too!

Ella's First Bath

Ella got her first bath last Sunday night. We got a washPOD which is a little bucket you fill up with water and you place the baby in. It's supposed to make them feel like they're back in the womb or something and she didn't seem to mind it at all. In the last picture below, Mike looks a little shocked because after her bath and while Mike was drying her off, she decided to pee in his arms! Hilarious!! :)

Ella got to spend some quality time with Uncle Jay and Uncle Don while they were up visiting from NC last weekend!

2 Weeks Old!

Ella met her Uncle Don, Aunt Steph, cousin Donny and Uncle Jay on her 2 week birthday! As you can see, she was all pumped for that night's Phillies game (which they ended up losing)! Cousin Donny was very excited to meet his new cousin! :)
