June Pictures

Here are some pictures and videos of Ella from the past couple of weeks! She has had a busy month so far...She found the stairs on June 5, went to the beach and touched the sand for the first time June 6, said "Da-Da" for the first time on June 12, went to both of our places of work to see our co-workers and went to 2 graduations (Hightstown HS and Rachel's graduation). Then in 2 weeks (on her 9 month birthday - can you believe 9 months has gone by already?!?!), we're heading down to NC to visit with Donny, Steph, Donny, Jason and Chandler and hopefully Mike's Aunt Sharon, Uncle Tony, Aunt Pam and Uncle Greg! So yeah - we're definitely keeping busy!!!

Here are some pictures we took throughout May. Throughout the past month, Ella started crawling a lot better and faster. She even learned how to pull herself up not only in her crib but on her toys and the couch and will even crawl over to the gate where the dogs are and stands up to see them (Jack licks her face)...She also starting some babbling last week. It started out as "ba-ba-ba-ba" and my Aunt Meta even said Ella says "boom boom boom", but I have yet to hear that (sorry Aunt Meta). OH! And she said "Ma-Ma" for the first time on Monday. Joanie and Todd (Mom and Dad) heard her say it and said it counts so I'll take that as her first official word! :) Now we have to teach her "Da-Da"...Ella also loves to play the piano with Grammy! I think we're going to have to get one so if anyone knows anyone getting rid of or selling a piano (nothing fancy), let me know!

Also, we had Ella Christened on Sunday, May 30 at the Trinity Methodist Church in Bordentown and did such a great job! She only got fussy about the last 5 minutes of the service! What a great baby! :) She also got to hang out with her cousin Donny (2.5 yrs old) on Monday! They were so cute together! Ella also went in the pool for the first time on Sunday as well! We had her in a life jacket at first but she didn't like it. We even tried putting her in a turtle floaty thing but she didn't like that either. When we showed her how to splash just like in the bathtub she absolutely loved it! Guess it'll take some more getting used to though!

Other then that, not to much else is new...No teeth yet, but I'm sure they'll be popping up any week now (she's 8 months old (young) today!)...Oh and we'll take Ella on her first vacation to North Carolina the week of the 4th of July! It was originally supposed to be to Key West but with the oil spill we don't want to take any chances of swimming with the oil!
