21 Weeks Old!!!!

Wow! I can't believe 6 weeks has gone by since I last posted pictures of Ella! Well, she is 21 weeks old today (5 months on Tuesday) and is still doing great! She's rolling over like crazy and loves looking at herself in the mirror. She tries to push herself forward when laying on her belly and sometimes even tucks her knees under her belly as though she's trying to crawl...She loves laughing and "talking" and blowing bubbles/gurgling...She tries to pull herself up to sit up, but she's not quite there yet and when we prop her up, she can sit there as long as her head is pretty much close to her feet! Oh and that's the other thing - she found her feet and loves sucking on her toes! Although we've had 4 snowstorms since she's been born, she still has yet to go out and "play" in the snow...We got her all dressed up this afternoon and she decided it was nap time so we undressed her and let her sleep! :)

She had her 4 month doctor appointment on February 5 and did great! She got some more shots and Daddy had to turn his head...Haha...She cried just a little bit and then fell asleep. She weighed in at 12 pounds and was 24-3/4" long. She also started eating cereal earlier this month and eats really good now! At first she would lean forward to try to get the spoon but now actually sits back and waits for the spoon...She's still only eating the rice, but we'll be starting the barley soon - probably sometime next week (if not this weekend).

Other then that all is well with Mike and I. I've been busy at work (which is why I haven't had a chance to update this site in 6 weeks) and Mike starts baseball (coaching) next week so that just means the next 3 months will be busy busy busy for us. Oh and we hope to have Ella baptized probably late May (perhaps Memorial Day weekend), but I still have to confirm everything...
