Well I just got my sugar test results and it turns out I eat too much sugar...I failed the test by 1 point (or however they measure it) which means that I need to take a 3 hour long glucose test now to confirm whether or not I have Gestational Diabetes. So since my next doctor's appointment is next Wednesday, I'll be going to have this 3 hour long test done on Friday...Then I found out that I have a slight case of anemia so they recommended an over the counter vitamin for me to take...Hmmph...Stinks, but all of this means I just need to change my diet - even more than I already have...So tomorrow for lunch...Salad...Thursday for lunch...Salad, and so on and so forth...
Other then that, everything is going well and only 11 more weeks until my due date (8 weeks 3 days until I go on maternity leave). I've gained a total of 23 pounds as of last week, so they just want me to watch what I'm eating so I don't gain tooo much more and my blood pressure has remained the same (just slightly increased the last time) throughout the pregnancy so hopefully I can keep it down.

Hang in there! It is so worth it all! (Oh, and most women are slightly anemic in pregnancy. I had to take extra vitamins too)

I had the test done yesterday - the sugar drink was REALLY gross this time around and I felt like I might vomit, but luckily I didn't...I'll find out the results on Wednesday so I'll keep you informed...Oh and I asked the nurse who took my blood yesterday what the cut-off was. She said they normally base it at 139 so I was probably at 140...She said that as long as 2 vials don't fail that I should be good to pass...If not then I have to be monitored and all that fun stuff...Hopefully I pass and that won't be a problem!
